 | I can't agree with the review above. This is an excellent production of a rarely performed Sondheim work that makes full use of the Theatre Clwyd stage. The set references back to the posters from the original production, and the revolving stage lends fluidity to the set changes. The performances are uniformly excellent, and the choreography is witty and relevant. This is a major achievement for the theatre, and well worth a visit. - Howard Lloyd | 31 May 12 |
