| This really is a play that everyone should see right now. Moving, evocative, well played by an ensemble without a weakness on a brilliantly designed set. The entwined lives of the men and women shown in the first half unravel so poignantly in the second half when they are separated physically and yet are in each other's thoughts all the time. Marvellous. Run, don't walk, to see this play - USER: Whatsonstage.com (212.50.179.251) | 08 Mar 03 | |
| Lots has been written and documented about life at the front. Refreshing to see a play which pictured the lives of women left behind. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (213.122.32.9) | 06 Mar 03 | |
| The 3rd and best version of this play that I have seen. Exceptionally well cast, directed and staged it provides an entertaining evening which nevertheless challenges the audience on current issues. A must see production. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (62.252.202.190) | 04 Mar 03 |
