starstarstarIt moved me to tears - but I have to try to forget the big mistake of the coda, when we see them after death. Cut that out - or preferably finish even earlier at what I thought was the death scene with the snow falling, and you've got a nearly perfect play. She was enchanting, he was fine; and what a teat to be able to read the words as well as watch the actors. And what words. - Richard Vaughan-Davies17 Oct 12
starstarstarstarstarPoignant and moving! I was captivated from beginning to end. - Keren Kennedy13 Oct 12
starstarWhen this dreary and depressing play was over, I contemplated going home and playing a Leonard Cohen album (perhaps Songs to Commit Suicide by). Being well past 60 and in my dotage, I now go to the theatre to be entertained, not to leave thinking I may as well end it all now before they cart me off to the Old Folks Suicide Home. That said, I liked the bits with the sea - very relaxing - almost sent me off to sleep. - Diane Read10 Oct 12
