| Francesca Annis, Martin Hutson and Ibsen triumph over a pretentious and self-conscious staging. - USER: Whatsonstage.com | 23 May 01 | |
| I have to disagree with your comments. I thought the play was brilliant, ok I'll admit it is not a bundle of laughs but it still shocked me even though it was written many years ago. - USER: Whatsonstage.com | 14 May 01 | |
| I am sorry to differ with your reviews. I think that the actors lacked the stature and depth needed for the play and that their elocution was poor. There were very few spectators in spite of the good reviews. I have seen Ibsen plays with full theatres so it must not be the lack of attraction of the author. Sincerely - USER: Whatsonstage.com | 13 May 01 | |

| I have seen Ghosts twice now, once at Windsor and in the West End. I have to say it is a brilliant play, not a bundle of laughs I'll admit, but the acting and the set is wonderful. Francesca Annis is truly one of our greatest actresses, she deserves lots of applause for this role. - USER: Whatsonstage.com | 14 Apr 01 |
