| A little bit long, but sheer fun from beginning to end. Splendid cast (Anne Reid, Fiona Dunn, Richard Dempsey & Nicolas Colicos standouts. Clare Foster adorale.) I liked the book myself, thought it was quite amusing and had a real story to tell for once. And the score is exquisite, and the 11-person (I think) orchestra gives it a big-Broadway sound. Don't miss this before it closes. I'm going back a second time! - USER: Whatsonstage.com (64.163.150.128) | 11 Aug 04 | |
| Production wonderful, great acting and comedy from Anne Reid but, oh, that awful book. The whole story line creeks and groans like a haunted house and no amount of cute rewriting can make it anything other than a dud. A pity because the show contains some exquisite Porter meoldies and lyrics and the cast give 110%. Not a patch on My One and Only - USER: Whatsonstage.com (217.42.73.99) | 02 Aug 04 | |

| scored it five stars, should have 10 stars. Total delight, would love to go again and again, although living in N.London makes it difficult. Must come to London then tour, so that as many as possible can ejoy this rare, joyful and wonderful show. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (195.188.152.16) | 25 May 04 | |
| An absolute joy. Very funny, very witty, very well done. My companion of the evening immediately booked to go again and take all her relatives. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (193.118.206.221) | 24 May 04 | |
| Fantastic. Have seen the show twice now. There's just so much in it to enjoy. Wonderful to come out of the theatre singing the songs! - USER: Whatsonstage.com (80.40.83.94) | 22 May 04 | |
| This was one of the best shows i have seen for sheer exhuberance, comedy, originality, ingenuity. Loved the music and dancing, and very clever surprises along the way in the story that you are not expecting. Nice to see something I have not seen before and would recommend it to anyone who loves musical theatre at its best. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (62.255.64.8) | 22 May 04 |
