| Saw this play tonight and thought it was really terrific. Funny, full of heart and vitally intelligent. - 62.252.0.10) | 27 Jan 05 | |
| After Elmina's Kitchen, this is a disappointment. It's main fault is it's imbalance - the first act is VERY slow and little of the story unfolds and the second act becomes clumsily melodramatic. The performanceas are uniformly excellent and the staging impeccable, but this can't hide a flawed play. - 81.134.90.253) | 31 Dec 04 | |
| I agree with the WOS review. The story is contrived and unconvincing. The performances, production and design are, however, exemplary. - 195.93.34.13) | 17 Dec 04 | |
| Kwame has done it again! If you liked Elmina's Kitchen, you'll love Fix Up. This one is more subtle and probably more complex, but the power is still there. Stunning performances. Intriguing design elements. Awesome play. And a play that moved me to tears! Tickets are still available - but not for long, I suspect. Nothing else to report - see it for yourself. - 81.154.149.113) | 11 Dec 04 |
