starstarstarstarI agree with the previous comments, however that young girl Skye Stuart was an absolutely wonderful actress, she had great potential. I, as a talent scout will definitely be looking out for her in the future! - Margeret Smith19 Mar 11
starI agree with the previous review but only up to a point - I don't see any brilliant potential in it at all. Interestingly, the writer has significant experience with radio drama and maybe it could be reworked as such, but never the less as it stands it is terribly wooden, a fact that gave the usually wonderfull Julian Glover a real handicap from the very start. Isla Blair struggled on valiantly doing the best she could too with this altogether turgid script. How on earth it got to be staged and by Hampstead Theatre boggles the mind! The staging was interesting but ultimately it cramped the actors style. Substantial rewriting would need to be carried out before anyone should consider letting this work see the light of day again. - rds12 Feb 08
starstarstarWhat is this? 2 * for The Sea and 3 * for this. Mad. This is just ok, wooden script, needing a cut or two and wooden acting from the two principals. But the underlying intention is worthwhile and the potential for a radio drama brilliant. It challenges the perceived view of events. - Lynette27 Jan 08
