starstarstarI've read and seen Journey's End many times, im just in love with the story, and I admire how Raleigh worships Stanhope, and see's him as an idol- I think that's a great relationship, and It had been portrayed excellently in this performance. Well done! - Elizabeth Stone25 Mar 12
starstarstarstarstarAs close to actually being in a war as I have ever been or hope to be, this is an unforgettable, deeply moving production. All the actors are uniformly brilliant. Dominic Mafham plays understanding and compassion better than anyone. The low lighting (sometimes just a candle) and well-timed rumble of guns and bombs set the scene perfectly. So devastating that at the (journey's) end, the clapping audience is trembling and sobbing rather than roaring and cheering. - Steve03 Sep 11
starstarstarstarstar27/08/11 matinee. One of the best theatre productions I have seen. A incredibly compelling story with outstanding performances from all the cast (thank you). It was summed up afterwards by the lady sitting directly behind me when she said " I need a drink I am shaking." it is exactly how it leaves you. - iany28 Aug 11
starstarstarstarstarWow. What a atunning evening of theatre. An incredible powerful play, so incredibly touching and poignant. James Norton leads a strong cast and the acting throughout is quite wonderful. Special mention must go to James, Graham Butler and Dominic Mafham who completely inhabit their characters. I saw this quite by chance and am so glad I did. Highly recommended. - Paul Wallis04 Aug 11
starstarstarstarstarHaving seen Journeys End 6 times this is the best Performance I have seen, Dominc Mafham was superb as Osborne, James Norton outstanding I would like to compare it to Sir Lawernce Oliviers performance. In fact the whole cast were outstanding. Watched the play Wednesday 27th July afternoon Matinee. Will come back and watch again before the end of the run - Stephen Williams29 Jul 11
starstarstarstarstarWhat an unforgettable evening. Quite possibly the most powerful few hours I’ve ever spent in a theatre. I was literally shaking after the end. Heart breaking. So unspeakably poignant. The performances were without exception superb. The youngest members of the cast James Norton and Graham Butler were fantastic. Dominic Mafham’s performance was one of the best i’ve seen in a long long time. Christian Patterson had just the right balance of brevity and depth. Simon Harrison was desperately sad as the terrified Hibbert. I could write and write about this. Just go and see it. Wonderful. - Maureen O’Brien26 Jul 11
