| Very clumsy, unproductive review wos. - Russell Lucas | 26 Oct 12 | |
| I agree with the comments above, not as good as last year but still entertaining, certainly not as poor as one star... I also quite enjoyed the 'come to dady peice' although I am a fan of the track I can't think of any other uses of it in other plays films or tv programs that would qualify it as much overplayed... - Roger Macnamara | 25 Oct 12 | |
| Ouch. That was a bit harsh. Anyone who saw last years show will certainly find this disappointing but one star disappointing? Not for me. I thought that Des O'Connor and Sarah Louise-Young were brilliant throughout as the cabaret artists entertaining everyone inbetween the 'main' acts (and not 'smug' at all, just confident) but the 4 or 5 short 15 minute plays, with the exception of 50 Shades of Black, were not a patch on last years offerings. Very poor. It's worth going just for Des and Sarah but i'm not sure how the organisers managed to get the rest so wrong. - Philip Rubery | 23 Oct 12 |
