starstarstarstarAn unusual play (is it a play?) given an excellent production and wonderful performances by this fantastic Golden Age company. Not up to 'Dog', much better than 'Tamar' in the same league as 'House'. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (195.232.25.31)20 Sep 04
starstarstarstarstarOne of the great pieces of theatre, finishing what has been a season of discovery for all concerned. The whole performance is nothing short of being perfect and lets the audience in on a world that we will never see the likes of again - USER: Whatsonstage.com (217.158.168.199)13 Sep 04
starstarstarstarExcellent and interesting production from this excellent ensemble cast for the Spanish Golden Age season. The play's structure means that some storylines are abandoned in a somewhat unsatisfactory way - at least to modern audiences, but this cast is working so well together that this hardly matters. The staging is simple and it is not difficult to imagine this folklore laden tale being told by travelling players beneath a Spanish Olive tree. This concludes a constantly interesting, thought provoking and entertaining Spanish season and it is sad that this will not be shown in London. - USER: Whatsonstage.com (62.252.0.10)13 Sep 04
