Synopsis
Eminent author Patrick Hammond is having dinner with the subject of his latest biography, a South American entrepreneur called Alfredo Pereira. A mystery guest arrives in the form of Brazilian beauty Augusta. She and Alfredo seem faintly familiar to each other. Is it possible that they have known each other in a previous life? If so, is this coincidence, or has it been arranged? What is the genial host Patrick up to? An evening that starts as a comedy of manners rapidly becomes a terrifying exploration of the past.
