Synopsis
The More Sinned Against is one of the most enduring masterpieces of the Russian theatre repertoire. Ostrovsky was the director of the Maly Theatre in Moscow. Irina Brown directed the BBC radio version in 1997. The play is a story of abandoned lovers and children, and of the cost being brought up as a foster child.
