Wisely ignoring that advice, she enrolled at the world-renowned Leeds College of Music and became the first student in the college's history, to achieve a 100% pass mark, with 18 distinctions. In a small town in Yorkshire, a beautiful widow is being wooed by two suitors. Fresh from the City and with endless money to dispose of, the older one showers her with gifts - which the younger (handsome, impecunious, an inveterate gambler) wants to put to better use. A love triangle, then; a tale of rivalry and avarice. But money's a slippery commodity and all is not quite as it seems. Throw in a bailiff, a drunkard, a vamp, a second-hand clothes dealer and two upwardly mobile servants, and the complications multiply. Adapted from Alain-Rene Lesage's savage eighteenth-century comedy Turcaret, Blake Morrison's For Love or Money is a story of monstrous wealth and whopping lies.
Glorious is the true story of the eccentric American, Florence Foster Jenkins, otherwise known as the 'socialite soprano'. During the Thirties and Forties, the somewhat delusional singer made a career out of doing concerts, although she couldn't hit a single note. The 'dire diva of din' recorded many records and perhaps her most famous recording was of Mozart's Queen of the Night aria. After doing a series of private concerts at the Ritz Carlton in New York the singer braved Carnegie Hall, which sold out months in advance.

John Mayall was, as a child, influenced by such greats as Leadbelly, Albert Ammons, Pinetop Smith, and Eddie Lang. From the age of 13 he taught himself to play and develop his own style with the aid of a neighbour's piano, borrowed guitars, and secondhand harmonicas. John met his soulmate in Eric Clapton, who had quit the Yardbirds in favour of playing the blues. This historic union culminated in the first hit album for John’s band, the Bluesbreakers, and resulted in worldwide legendary status. A succession of great musicians defined their artistic roots under John's leadership, and he became well known for discovering new talent. As sidemen left to form their own groups, others took their places. Peter Green, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood became Fleetwood Mac. Andy Fraser formed Free, and Mick Taylor joined the Rolling Stones. As Eric Clapton has stated, "John Mayall has actually run an incredibly great school for musicians."

More boisterous energy and boyish charm than a zoo full of chimps. Star of the wonderful Big and Daft sketch trio who've been a darling of the Edinburgh Fringe for three successive years.
He's married, has two kids, a dog and an eye-watering mortgage, (is in debt) in these times of austerity and uncertainty, but remains resolute that a career in unpredictable world of comedy was absolutely the right way to go. (It's far too late to try something else now.) Rob takes this trademark comedic storytelling to a career high in this full length show, as he leads us on an irresistibly hilarious journey of enforced introspection, that has taught him to relinquish any attempts to control his life and to face down literally one of the most awkward situations you're ever likely to hear about. Most definitely a middle-aged bloke Rob happily holds his hands up as being about as 'un-sexy' as it's possible to be in terms of broad brush 'Key Marketing Demographics', but as a stand-up, he is in the form of his life.
