Nancy Dell'Olio set to tread the boards in bio-play?

Date: 5 March 2013

Fiery Italian lawyer-turned-celebrity Nancy Dell'Olio is set to make her West End debut in a play about her life, according to the Daily Mail.

Dell'Olio, who rose to fame following her relationship with former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson, will apparently tread the boards in a one-woman play titled In The Powder Room at the Arts Theatre.

According to the Mail, "The show, which is the result of a collaboration between the Italian-born lawyer, Phil McIntyre Entertainments and director CJ Ranger - with whom she worked on the Strictly Come Dancing tour - promises a fascinating look at Nancy’s glamorous life and how she copes with the spotlight."

"The synopsis is that while preparing for another night out, Nancy invites the audience to meet her dominating manager, her spiky personal assistant and a filmmaker who is documenting her life."

And Dell'Olio fans not based in the capital should take heart. The report continues: "If the show takes off, investors hope to transfer it to a larger West End theatre followed by a national tour."

OMG! What next! A talentless no good no hoper roughing for attention! She clearly can't help herself but everyone else involved should be ashamed. This isn't theatre, titis isn't entertainment, this is sad! I predict it will play to half a dozen people for a,couple of weeks and the do the right thing and die a very public death! - Pmc230675
