Jesus: Have you checked out the new Superstar app?Date: 9 July 2012 This weekend saw Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group take a step into the digital world with the launch of a companion app for the upcoming revival of Jesus Christ Superstar. Designed to be used at the same time as the TV show airs, the app features real-time access to social media, through which users’ tweets can be featured on the show. Live content is backed up by a stash of interviews and information on the original run of Jesus Christ Superstar and nuggets of gossip from the TV show and live tour. The app also comes bundled with a free download of bonus track “Could We Start Again Please?”, which was written by Tim Rice and Lloyd Webber for the 1973 film, and will feature in the forthcoming arena tour.
