South Pacific sails into Palladium after Wizard?
Date: 17 February 2012

Rumours have surfaced that the recent Lincoln Centre revival of South Pacific will transfer to the London Palladium later this year.

Starring EastEnders' Samantha Womack as Nellie Forbush, the Tony Award-winning production, which is directed by Bartlett Sher, ran at the Barbican last year before embarking on its current UK tour.

According to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye: "Womack, and the show, may come back to London in the early autumn ... taking over from The Wizard Of Oz, and running until the musical version of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory arrives there in late spring."
