Love Never Dies Breaks to Make Changes???

Date: 9 June 2010

Rumours are circling online that there will be a hiatus at the end of the current booking period of Love Never Dies in order to make changes to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom follow up. There have already been some significant alterations during the course of the run at the Adelphi Theatre, such as a cutting the song "Heaven by the Sea", though it's likely further changes will be made before the 2011 Broadway transfer. It's thought the break could last several weeks, though as yet there has been no official confirmation. The current booking period ends on 23 October 2010.

To try and makes this show watchable would need one thing only - a very large skip. Dump the whole cumbersome piece of tosh. NEVER HAVE I SAT THROUGH SUCH RUBBISH. I WAS APPALLED BY THIS DREADFUL SHOW. - Jan W

The team (if any of them haven't yet been sacked!!) must clearly have realized they have made a monster mistake with this gut-wrenchingly awful piece of trash. It needs to close for good - there is no salvaging such rubbish. - Rob Jakes

I'm actually really disappointed. I thought the show was amazing as it was, just from hearing the soundtrack. - Tegan
