End of the Rainbow for Lloyd Webber & BBC???Date: 25 May 2010 Was Over the Rainbow the last collaboration between the Andrew Lloyd Webber and the BBC? After it and its successors How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?, Any Dream Will Do and I’d Do Anything, the deal between the Beeb and Lloyd Webber has come to an end and no more series are planned. According to the Sun newspaper, Lloyd Webber is toying with a move to ITV or perhaps just returning to the “day job”. Meanwhile, folks on the Whatsonstage.com Discussion Forum have already begun their predictions for which musicals should next be cast via television - The Music Man, Mame, Cabaret or West Side Story perhaps?
