Kylie Fans Should be so Lucky with Musical???

Date: 11 May 2010

Pint-sized Aussie songstress Kylie Minogue has confirmed she is working on a 'showstopping musical' with hits from her illustrious career. And with 32 UK top tens, including seven number ones since her chart debut in 1988, Kylie and her collaborator William Baker (who directed 2007 revival of Rent) will be spoilt for choice. Few details are known about the project except that Minogue has told fans her musical will be more Mamma Mia! than Jersey Boys, with the musical inspired by her songs and not her past. “I’m comfortable because it’s not my life story; it’s about the interpretation of my music” she said recently.

oh please, not another load of crap again. Whats happened to decent original musicals. The story to Mamma mia is so pathetic and boring. Pop stars should concentrate on their own career and leave musicals to those who can write proper music. - John
