Want an Exclusive Peak at Hairspray's TV Ad???Date: 12 November 2009 Following hot on the heels (emphasis on the heels!) of fellow West End resident Sister Act (See The Goss, 18 Sep 2009), Hairspray is releasing a TV advert from next week, and Whatsonstage.com has got its hands on an exclusive copy.
The ad is produced in a fun, cartoony-style and features Phill Jupitus and Belinda Carlise, who currently play Edna Turnblad and Velma Von Tussle in the long-running West End hit, which has been resident at the Shaftesbury Theatre since 2007 and won the sweep of Best Musical prizes at the 2007/8 year’s Evening Standard, Critics’ Circle, Whatsonstage.com and Olivier Awards.
The ad will be shown across a range channels from Monday (16 November 2009). Click the 'play' icon below to view.
