Big Brother Penny for RSC Stage???Date: 2 July 2001Penny Ellis, an evictee from Channel 4's Big Brother house, looks set to make an appearance of sorts with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Whilst featuring on the television programme, Ellis talked at some length about her interest in the company. Now she is being lined up for an audience participation, question and answer session at the RSC's The Summer House entertainment venue in Stratford-upon-Avon during July. Ellis, who was formerly an English teacher, was the first contestant to be evicted from the house, although whether her interest in Shakespeare was a factor is open to question. Related Content |
