Kim Cattrall to Join Royal Family???Date: 22 June 2001Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall is hotly tipped to be joining Dame Judi Dench in The Royal Family at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket. Cattrall, who has received Golden Globe and Emmy nominations in her career, seems likely to take the role of Dame Judi’s daughter. The play is based on the theatrical Barrymore family, who in the 1920s were an American equivalent of the Redgraves. Cattrall was born in Liverpool, but raised in Canada, and has also starred in such films as Porky’s and Bonfire of the Vanities. Her stage career includes Miller’s A View from the Bridge and Chekhov’s Three Sisters. The Royal Family previews from 24 October 2001, before opening on 1 November. Related Content |
