Seagull Clips West End Wings for Broadway???Date: 5 April 2007An update on last week’s titbit about a possible West End transfer for the Royal Court’s recent sell-out production of Chekhov’s The Seagull (See The Goss, 26 Mar 2007). Unfortunately, due to the unavailability of some of the cast – led by Kristin Scott Thomas, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mackenzie Crook – we’re told that there will be no West End transfer. However, there still may be some chance to see it again, if you’re willing to stump up for the airfare to New York. Discussions are now under way for a Broadway production in early 2008.
