Grease Limbers Up for Piccadilly Opening???Date: 2 February 2007 According to the Daily Mail, David Ian’s planned West End revival of Grease - to be cast via forthcoming ITV talent show You’re the one that I Want (See News, 21 Dec 2006), will open at the Piccadilly Theatre this autumn. Currently at the Piccadilly, Michael Grandage’s multi-award-winning production of Guys and Dolls is booking to 14 April 2007, though a spokeswoman for the show said nothing has been confirmed about whether or not the musical – which currently stars Miami Vice’s Don Johnson - will extend beyond April. Meanwhile, Ian’s rival in reality telly, Andrew Lloyd Webber, whose BBC talent search Any Dream Will Do will cast the star of a West End revival of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoast this summer, is to make a guest appearance on the American version of You’re the one that I want next weekend.
