Adamsdale Plans Receipt & Jackson’s Highway???Date: 6 November 2006 Actor-comedian Will Adamsdale has just completed a limited season of Eric Bogosian’s Notes from Underground at Trafalgar Studio 2, but it won’t be long before he’s back on the London stage. He’s planning to bring his Fringe First-winning show from this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, The Receipt, which he co-wrote and also starred in, to the Lyric Hammersmith in January. Speaking to Whatsonstage.com theatregoers at last week’s Outing, Adamsdale said he could identify with Notes from Underground author Eric Bogosian, who like himself is a writer-performer who has presented much of his own work. However, Adamsdale said he couldn’t imagine another actor tackling Jackson’s Way, the comedy show about an American motivational speaker which won him the 2004 Perrier Award. Why? Because he’s still developing the character to use in new material. “It could be called Jackson’s Highway,” quipped one audience member.
