Connie Wins Votes� But Will She on Saturday???

In yet another poll, fans of the hit karaoke film phenomenon, Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music, which has been playing at London�s Prince Charles Cinema since 1999, have decided who they think should win How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?, the BBC One competition to find a Maria Von Trapp for Andrew Lloyd Webber�s upcoming production of The Sound of Music. Choosing between the final three contestants, 61% would like Connie to win, 28% voted for Siobhan and 11% for Helena � which seems largely in line with opinions on the Whatsonstage.com Discussion Forum. To date, Lloyd Webber has been able to save one person from each of the sing-offs between girls with the lowest number of call- and text-in votes. But from here on out, it�s totally down to the public. If you haven�t voted yet for your Maria, this coming Saturday (16 September 2006) will be your last chance to do so.
