Speedy Romance On & Off Stage in Sheffield???Date: 9 February 2006Still don’t have an amour for Valentine’s Day? You may want to get up to Sheffield tonight then. Sheffield Theatres have teamed up with Attraction Dating and the Love2B Festival to create a new speed-dating service, which launches tonight (Thursday 9 February 2006). According to theatre marketing manager Eric Hildrew, “We’re always encouraging people to make their visits here a social event and, judging by the buzz in the foyer and theatre bar, plays provide a great talking point. Speed dating and the Love2B Festival are an opportunity for our audience to experience a little romance off stage as well as on!” Tonight’s event is open to 25- to 40-year-olds.
