Lancashire Returns to Dolls Next Week???Date: 13 January 2006Sarah Lancashire has been away from Guys and Dolls for almost two weeks due to ill health, prompting rumours of her not returning to the role of Miss Adelaide, who, ironically, is always coming down with a cold. Her last performance in the hit musical at the West End’s Piccadilly Theatre was on Wednesday last week (4 January 2006). The actress, best known for her television roles in Coronation Street and Rose and Maloney, is reportedly suffering from a chest infection and is not now expected to return until next week. A spokesperson for the show said: “Sarah is off ill with a chest infection and we hope that she will be back at the beginning of next week.” Meanwhile, some interesting rumours abound about who’s tipped to be the next Adelaide after Lancashire leaves the cast on 4 March 2006, including some Hollywood actresses with musical credits to their names… Related Content |
