Callow Delays Critical Judgments???Date: 19 September 2005Is Simon Callow having trouble with the demands of musical theatre? He was due to make his official stage musical debut playing Count Fosco in The Woman in White (See News, 1 Aug 2005), but tonight’s press performance has been cancelled – rescheduled, that is, although a new date has not been given – without explanation. Callow’s first previews were cancelled last month, apparently due to the actor suffering from a sore throat (See The Goss 31 Aug 2005). Callow plays the villainous Count Fosco opposite Ruthie Henshall as Marian Halcombe. He’s currently contracted until November 2005. Related Content |
