Jerry Hall Follows High with Prison Sentence???Date: 9 September 2005Even before she’s started, it seems that Jerry Hall has caught the musical bug. She makes her stage musical debut next month playing Mother Lord in Cole Porter’s High Society at the West End’s Shaftesbury Theatre (See News, 2 Sep 2005), and is apparently planning to follow that up with a stint in Kander and Ebb longrunner Chicago. According to today’s Daily Mail, she’s in discussions to take over as prison matron Mama Morton, either in the West End or on Broadway. Record-breaking exercises aside (See The Goss, 24 Feb 2004), Hall was last seen in the West End in 2000, playing Mrs Robinson in The Graduate. The model and ex-wife of Mick Jagger has been attracting headlines recently for her new reality TV show Kept in which a dozen men compete to be her new toy boy. Posters for the programme, featuring Hall holding the half-naked men on a leash, were banned on the Underground. Related Content |
