Hicks to Further Missing Success???Date: 22 August 2005Meanwhile, producers of another acclaimed Edinburgh hit, the one-man show Missing Persons – Four Tragedies and Roy Keane, starring Greg Hicks, say a London transfer is indeed looking likely. The show at the Assembly Rooms involves five dark tales of modern masculinity, written by Colin Teevan, to evoke the heroes of Greek mythology. Any London dates for Missing Persons will have to fit around Hicks’ other upcoming stage commitment. He takes the title role in Tamburlaine, which opens in October at Bristol Old Vic ahead of a November season at the Barbican as part of the Young Vic’s Young Genius season (See News, 17 Jun 2005). Back in Edinburgh, Hicks’ friends, the actor and director Steven Berkoff and actress Linda Marlowe, are also performing solo shows at the Fringe this year… perhaps they could all team up?
