Shows Go Ahead, including Woman in White???Date: 21 July 2005Two weeks after the London terrorist bombings on 7 July 2005, more incidents on the Underground and a bus have caused further chaos today, with “suspect packages” wreaking further havoc. As of 5.20pm, all theatres were reporting that this evening’s performances were going ahead as usual, including Andrew Lloyd Webber musical The Woman in White at Cambridge Circus, which has reportedly been cordoned off and many offices evacuated on account of a suspect package. With several Tube lines and several central London roads closes, theatregoers are advised to allow extra time for travel. Related Content |
