On the Town’s Garcia, Howar & Lazar in Cabaret???Date: 23 March 2005Anchors away! Adam Garcia, Tim Howar and Aaron Lazar – currently playing the three sailors with 24 hours’ shore leave in On the Town - will be putting in some overtime this spring, though not at the London Coliseum, where the English National Opera revival of Leonard Bernstein’s 1944 Broadway musical continues in repertory until 28 May 2005. The trio are due to be the next in an occasional season of late-night cabaret at the Delfont Room, located in the lower bar of the West End’s Prince of Wales Theatre. The new date in May, due to be announced and opened to booking from next week, follows the February concert featuring Joanna Riding and Martin Crewes, which launched the venue as a performance space (See News, 23 Dec 2004). The theme for the men’s evening will once again be “Old, New, Borrowed, Blue”. Related Content |
