Will Crawford Ever Return as Count Fosco????Date: 2 March 2005 Speaking of The Woman in White, yesterday’s announcement that Michael Ball will continue in the role of Count Fosco for another month has sparked further speculation about Michael Crawford’s future involvement with the production (See News, 1 Mar 2005). Ball is now due to finish on 30 April 2005 with Crawford expected back around 2 May, rather than 4 April as previously announced. However, Crawford’s prolonged absence – he’s been out of the show with flu under doctor’s orders for most of this year to date – has got theatregoers on the Whatsonstage.com Discussion Forum, amongst others, wondering whether he may not actually return at all.
