Sympathy & Advice for Olivier Losers!??Date: 21 February 2005The Anniversary’s Sheila Hancock, who presented last night’s Laurence Olivier award for Best New Play (See Today’s News), commiserated with the evening’s unsuccessful nominees. “I am I think the most nominated actress in the business,” she said. “I have been nominated in every category and never won it.” She remembers, she said the “wry smile” and “wild applause” for the winner followed by “vomiting in the ladies’ room”.
