And Law Considers Hamlet for Young Vic???Date: 16 September 2004And speaking of screen stars and the bard, Jude Law has expressed an interest in playing Hamlet for David Lan, artistic director of the Young Vic, where Law starred in Lan’s production of Doctor Faustus in 2002. A theatre spokesperson confirmed that Law and Lan have discussed the project. However, given Law’s film commitments – not to mention the fact that the South Bank theatre closed in July for a two-year, £12.5 million rebuild – it’s clearly not happening anytime soon.
