24-Hour Act Ends with Wrong-sized Proposal???Date: 25 August 2004 Edinburgh Fringe stand-up Mark Watson drew his comedy marathon to an impressive close on Monday night at the Festival’s Cowgate Central venue at Wilkie House. Luckily for Watson the answer was yes. Unluckily for Howes, later on, firefighters had to cut the ring off when her finger swelled up and turned purple. Apparently, the ring was too tight.
