Oz O’Connor Brings Bombshells to London???Date: 19 August 2004British-born Australian Caroline O'Connor has been causing such a sensation at the Edinburgh Fringe this month that her autumn passage to London seems almost guaranteed. At Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms, she’s been performing an abridged version of her one-woman whirlwind, Bombshells, but the West End – most probably the Arts Theatre – will get the whole shebang. The show premiered in Melbourne in 2001 and was recently a sell-out in Sydney. Those who haven’t seen O’Connor’s work Down Under may know her from her screen cameo as “Nini Legs-in-the-Air” in Moulin Rouge, Chicago on Broadway or the West End production of Mack and Mabel for which she was Olivier-nominated.
