Jason Robert Brown Premieres Work in London???Date: 28 July 2004Tony Award-winning American composer Jason Robert Brown is due to return to London in September to give a limited number of concert performances. An Evening with Jason Robert Brown and Friends will be staged at the New Players Theatre at Charing Cross. As with a similar one-off evening at the Bridewell Theatre in 2002, Robert Brown will play selections from his musicals including Parade, The Last Five Years and the Whatsonstage.com Award-winning Songs for a New World. In addition, he’ll premiere material from two new musicals, which he’s currently writing while on a six-month sabbatical in Italy. The special guest “Friends” for the New Players’ dates have not yet been announced. At the Bridewell, the composer was joined by Lauren Kennedy, Golda Roshuevel and Jenna Russell.
