Me & My Girl Off for Now???Date: 24 December 2003The return of Me and My Girl, previously touted here (See The Goss, 14 Oct 2003), is off for now. Due to open at the New London Theatre in May 2004, it has been postponed indefinitely, apparently because the ongoing success of the theatre's current tenant - Bill Kenwright's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - has rendered it homeless. The producers, Noel Gay Productions, say they are not able to find another venue to the timescale required, so although the creative team was in place and auditioning had begun, it's had to be called off.
