Sally Climaxes When Harry Comes in West End???Date: 1 December 2003One of the most enduring memories of Rob Reiner's 1989 film of When Harry Met Sally is the scene in the deli when Meg Ryan's Sally demonstrates to Billy Crystal's Harry her ability to fake an orgasm, an impromptu performanc which prompts the lady customer at the next table to tell the waiter "I'll have what she's having". Is such a racy display too racy for the new stage version, which opens at the West End's Theatre Royal Haymarket in February (See Today's News)? Apparently not. Producer James Tod has told the Daily Mail that "we couldn't leave that out". How successfully it goes down, of course, will depend on who's cast to play Sally opposite Luke Perry's Harry.
