Grandage Brings Another Dream to London???

It doesn't face the critics until tonight, but
Michael Grandage's new Sheffield Crucible staging of
A Midsummer Night's Dream is already being tipped for passage south. According to
The Stage newspaper, the director is in discussions to bring the production, which stars
Samantha Spiro and
Ray Fearon, to the West End's Old Vic, where his 2002 Sheffield Shakespeare,
The Tempest with
Derek Jacobi and
Daniel Evans, transferred this past January for a limited season. London has already seen two major
Dream this year - the Open Air's summer seasonal outing and
Edward Hall's all-male Propeller production, which is still playing at the West End's Comedy Theatre.
