Henshall Hails Fosse on Tour???Date: 18 July 2003And speaking of Ruthie Henshall and alleged casting, for some weeks now we've been chasing up the News story about the diva joining the touring cast of Fosse following her West End stint in Chicago. As previously reported (See News, 10 Jun 2003), a new international schedule for the dance show - a tribute to Chicago's late choreographer Bob Fosse - launches in Liverpool on 29 October 2003. Initially, it will star Liverpool's own Claire Sweeney, though - according to the venues themselves - she'll make way for Henshall to perform at the Manchester Opera House (24 to 29 November 2003) and Edinburgh Playhouse (1 to 13 December 2003). However, after several phone calls, emails and general hassling, the production's publicists say that the casting 'unconfirmed'. Apparently, all lines have not been signed, i's been dotted, t's been crossed, etc etc. But frankly, we're a bit bored with this story now so we leave it to you decide and to book - or not - accordingly!
