Pryce Follows Fair Lady with Soho Reckoning???Date: 20 December 2002From big-budget musical to intimate new play premiere. According to today's Daily Mail, leading man Jonathan Pryce is due to follow up his turn last year as Professor Henry Higgins to Martine McCutcheon's on again-off again Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady with the a new play called A Reckoning this spring. Written by American Wesley Moore, the drama revolves around a father who is accused of sexual abuse by her daughter, to be played by Flora Montgomery. The production, directed by Richard Seyd, is expected to open at Soho Theatre in March. In addition My Fair Lady and his other musical roles in Miss Saigon and Oliver!, Pryce has previously appeared on the London stage in Uncle Vanya, The Seagull and numerous productions for the RSC. On film, his credits include Evita!, Stigmata, Ronin, Carrington, The Age of Innocence, Glengarry Glen Ross and Jumping Jack Flash, amongst many others. Related Content |
