Jude Law Lured Back to London for Hamlet???

Brit Pack screen heartthrob Jude Law - who created a sell-out sensation at the Young Vic this past March when he took the title role in David Lan's production of Marlowe's Dr Faustus - could be back in titular stage form soon. According to this week's edition of The Stage, Law is in talks with ATG to take on Hamlet in London, as part of ATG's joint venture with Law and friends' production company Natural Nylon. Earlier this autumn, there was some doubt over the future of Natural Nylon Theatre, when co-founder Ewan McGregor resigned (See News, 31 Oct 2002). Despite a high-profile launch in January 2001, the only production fulfilled to date has been Dr Faustus and little has been heard about the promised versions of Three Sisters and John Fowles' novel The Collector. Like McGregor, Law has had considerable success in Hollywood, though he likes to return every few years to the stage. His many films include The Road to Perdition, AI, Enemy at the Gates, The Talented Mr Ripley, Wilde, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and the upcoming releases of Marlowe and Cold Mountain.
