"The Biggest Star Ever"...Could It Be...???Date: 19 November 2002 Theatregoers have been tantalised for weeks at the prospect of this week's Royal Charity Gala of hit comedy The Play What I Wrote in which, adverts have promised, the special guest to join The Right Size and Toby Jones in the Morecambe and Wise tribute would be "BIGGEST STAR in the show's history!" That's no small feat, considering that guests to date have included Ralph Fiennes, Richard Wilson, Ewan McGregor, Jerry Hall, Dawn French, Minnie Driver, Roger Moore and Twiggy and that the audience on the night will include Prince Charles (funds raised go to the Prince's Trust) and many other big names. Still, if celeb casting rumours prove to be true, there will be plenty of satisfied customers at the Wyndhams Theatre Thursday night to see one former Neighbours star and current pop diva take to the stage. If you need any further hints, this diminutive Australian minx's hits include "Locomotion" and "Can't Get You Out of My Head" and, according to previous rumours (See The Goss, 3 Jan 2002), she's inspired a new stage musical fittingly called I Should Be Lucky. There are still tickets available for the Royal Gala on 21 November, with prices starting at just £35. Click here for more information and to book now!
