Dames Take Another Breath Before Broadway???Date: 16 October 2002Though Dames Judi Dench and Maggie Smith only officially opened last night in the world premiere of David Hare's The Breath of Life, the focus is already on what happens at the end of their run on 21 December 2002. Producer Robert Fox is now reportedly trying to persuade his two stars to return to the Theatre Royal Haymarket for a short extension in the new year and, beyond that, is laying the groundwork to take production - leading ladies' film and other commitments permitting - to Broadway.
