Will Queen Rock You Again with a Sequel???

Critics be damned. Poor reviews haven't prevented the success of Queen's We Will Rock You - which keeps on extending and breaking box office records - and they don't seem to be any deterrent to Ben Elton's plans for a sequel. According to this week's edition of The Stage, Elton is already half-way through writing the follow-up to the catalogue musical, which will continue We Will Rock You's futuristic tale about saving the world using the songs of Queen. Guitarist Brian May told the newspaper: "There are lots of songs that haven't been used yet, so we have a lot of material to work with." The plan is to mount the new show in the West End simultaneously with We Will Rock You.
