Will Replaces Michael in Chitty???Date: 6 August 2002Celebrity gossip website PeopleNews.com is reporting that Popstar Will Young is in the running to replace Michael Ball as Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium. Though the singer is famous for his participation in - and winning of - the reality TV show, he apparently studied drama at university so is keen to tread the boards. Ball made his musical theatre comeback in the role when the £6 million musical premiered in April. He's currently joined in the cast by Richard O'Brien, Nichola McAuliffe, Brian Blessed, Edward Petherbridge, Anton Rodgers and Emma Williams. Related Content |
