Jerry Hall Swaps Picasso for Park Bench???Date: 15 May 2002 Jerry Hall is planning on a return to the London stage later this year, though it most likely won't be in the expected transfer of Brian McAvera's Picasso's Women. That production - a collection of five short plays featuring several actresses including Cherie Lunghi and Gwen Taylor - had a five-week regional tour in February and March and was tipped for a limited London season sometime this summer, care of producers at the Ambassador Theatre Group. However, the move has been put on hold. Instead, Hall is now tipped to appear in a new play by Michael Rudman and Bud Shrake at the fringe New End Theatre in Hampstead, north London. Titled Benchmark, the play centres on two thugs, meeting on a park bench in Los Angeles, who have an ex (played by Hall) in common. An ex-model and ex-wife of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger, Hall's previous stage credits have included The Graduate (in which she starred as Mrs Robinson), The Vagina Monologues and Bus Stop, all in the West End.
